Folder Color is a simple tool that allows you to change color of folders individually or globally, by using it you can get better visual or simply mark any folder as per your need. It also supports different icons themes such as Numix, Vibrancy Colors & Vivacious Colors, you can also test this tool with other icon sets.
Folder color works with these file managers: Nautilus, Nemo, and Caja. For each file manager there is a different package, if you use two of them or all these file manager then you can install all 'Folder Color' packages.
As I mentioned above you can set color for a folder individually or change color globally, there is a new feature introduced recently which allows you to make folder using emblem, there are four type of emblems available 'Favorite', 'Finished', 'Important', and 'In Progress', so you can keep track your work using these emblems. It also offers you to set custom color if you don't want to use available colors. If you wish to revert back then simply click on individual folder and select 'Default' option, for all folder select all folders and revert to default.

How to Install?

Available for Ubuntu 15.10 Wily/15.04 Vivid/14.04 Trusty/12.04 Precise/Linux Mint 17.x/13/other Ubuntu derivatives
To install Folder Color in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
