Install E17 Gtk theme in Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty/13.10 Saucy/Linux Mint 16/other related Ubuntu derivatives (GTK)

E17Gtk theme is specifically designed for E17 desktop environment, it is dark theme with sharp corners and it looks very fine. It is compatible with GTK 3.12 and 3.10, it can work in any environment which uses GTK such as Gnome, Unity, Xfce, Cinnamon, etc. If you want Qt4 apps to have a GTK style, run qtconfig-qt4, choose GTK+ for 'Selected GUI Style' in the Appearance tab and save it. You can use Unity Tweak ToolGnome-tweak-tool or Ubuntu-Tweak to change themes/icons. FS-icons used in screenshots.

These provide both a semi-traditional toolkit set in Elementary as well as the object canvas (Evas) and powerful abstracted objects (Edje) that you can combine, mix and match, even layer on top of each other with alpha channels and events in-tact. It has 3D transformations for all objects and more.

To install E17 Desktop in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Now Logout and Choose Enlightenment from Gear.

Now Setup Shelf
Right Click on Shelf/Panel and Select Settings

In Size Setting > Untick "Shrink to Content Width" and select size "32 pixels"

Now you can move icons/items from panel by select option from right click.

To Uninstall Enlightenment Desktop Enter following command in Terminal:
