If you have CDs laying around and you have some special tracks in them then you can extract them and listen again on your current devices. All you need is a CD drive and little bit time. Your physical audio collection can become digital and modern again. There are some online services also available for this kind of task but it is good idea to do it by offline application and it is pretty easy to do.
Flacon is an application designed to extract audio files individually or entire album from Audio CD. You can rip audio CDs in order to save your favorite album on your system or transfer in your mobile/handheld device. To do this, it uses information from the appropriate CUE file. Besides, Flacon makes it possible to conveniently revise or specify tags both for all tracks at once or for each tag separately.

Install Silicon Empire and K3b Burner in Ubuntu/Linux Mint/other Ubuntu derivatives

There are applications available for Linux which can burn Blu-ray discs. Ubuntu has installed Brasero burner by default but I don't know if that burns Blu-ray discs. K3b and Silicon Empire burners works fine for me in this case, these two burners does everything what you expect for Nero.

K3b is a full-featured, easy to use CD and DVD burner, copier, ripper and more for Linux, basically it is optimized for KDE but it works in all desktop environments. K3b is written in the C++ programming language and uses the Qt GUI toolkit. K3b can also burn data CDs that support Linux/Unix based OS, Windows, DOS, Very Large Files (UDF), Linux/Unix + Windows, Rock Ridge, and Joliet file systems.

To burn Blu-ray follow these steps:
Settings > Configure K3b > Advanced > check Show advanced GUI Elements
