Mac OS (MBuntu) Transformation pack is ready for Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet
(Note: For best results use Unity or you can also use under Gnome Shell & Cinnamon, and for previous MacBuntu versions for previous Ubuntu releases link to posts are given.)

Finally after a lot of work MBuntu OS Y (Macbuntu Yosemite) transformation pack is ready for Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet. We could have made everything automated but in this way you guys won't get how stuff gets done in Linux, so we kept everything semi-automatic and pretty much interactive. This pack contains themes for GTK (supports: Unity, Gnome, Cinnamon, Mate, and Xfce), two themes for Gnome Shell, one theme for Cinnamon, one icon pack, cursors, and this time we dropped boot screen support because there are some issues going on with boot screen customization. Themes used in this pack contains some parts from other sources credit also goes to these guys (Cinnamon, Gnome Shell theme from Yosemite Shell, some parts from Zuki) and Jared from Ravefinity helped us for making theme compatibility and fixing bugs in themes, and some icons also collected from different sources[1], docky themes are Ambiance and Buyi-idock. By following these instructions you can change look of your Ubuntu 15.04 to look like Mac. In previous packs we used LightDM webkit theme which looks quite similar to Mac OS X login screen, this time we are offering again but you have to use it on your own risk because many users reported issues after installing it.
As you know guys we are doing Mac packs from quite sometime because such packs for Linux are almost stopped but we kept this project on our to do list from 12.04, and this time we have reached to 15.04 with Mac transformation. Many people look on the internet for pre-configured Macbuntu 15.04/Mac4lin, Mac Ubuntu theme and so on, but it is good idea to transform it by yourself because if you want to go back to default look or want to change look you can do it easily. Offering this pack no hate or infringing behavior is intended, simply designed for those who don't want to use Mac or can't use Mac for any reason.
Note: If you encounter any bug in theme/icons/any stuff, report to us with screenshot or problem with details.

MiniTube is beautiful, lightweight and a native YouTube client. With MiniTube you can watch YouTube videos by typing keyword into the search-box and MiniTube will immediately loads the results. It offers two type of searches: channel search and keyword search. It provides endless video stream, playback on MiniTube is smooth and instant, without a noticeable buffering time, as I tested. Debian 8 Jessie just released few days back. We apologize for being late with this news, actually we are quite busy with a lot of stuff, but here is good news: we are also providing you ready-to-use virtual machine images for Debian 8 Jessie against VirtualBox and VMware. There is no doubt that Debian is BIG project, many popular distributions like 'Ubuntu' and others are based on Debian and it's being used in commercial areas, governments, and non-commercial areas. The Debian project's key strengths are its volunteer base, its dedication to the Debian Social Contract and Free Software, and its commitment to provide the best operating system possible. Debian 8 is another important step in that direction.
What Debian 8 has brought with itself for us: "After almost 24 months of constant development the Debian project is proud to present its new stable version 8 (code name 'Jessie'), which will be supported for the next 5 years thanks to the combined work of the Debian Security team and of the Debian Long Term Support team. 'Jessie' ships with a new default init system, systemd. The systemd suite provides many exciting features such as faster boot times, cgroups for services, and the possibility of isolating part of the services. The sysvinit init system is still available in 'Jessie'.
The UEFI ('Unified Extensible Firmware Interface') support introduced in 'Wheezy' has also been greatly improved in Jessie. This includes workarounds for many known firmware bugs, support for UEFI on 32-bit systems, and support for 64-bit kernels with 32-bit UEFI firmware (with the latter being included only on our amd64/i386 "multi-arch" installation media). Now a days every desktop for Linux has its own launcher/Main Menu, sometimes you want a replacement. There is no doubt that native desktop launcher can be perfect, optimized, smooth, speedy, and well functioning; Here comes another great launcher which can launch anything you want on your fingertips, it is fast, stable, smooth, and well optimized for Linux desktop. I am not trying to say that it is a best launcher of your desktop or neither it is a replacement for your desktop launcher, it is simply great launcher which can be used to get things done quickly.
There are plenty of dark themes available for Gtk, most popular packs like Ambiance-Blackout and so on. Ambiance Dark Blue theme is another great dark version with combination of blue/teal color. As we tested this theme also delivers best user experience, if you are one of those who don't like bright themes because bright light hurt eyes then you should give a try to this theme. It is compatible with Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic/Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty (we didn't tested for GTK 3.16 but hopefully it will work just fine) and it works under Unity, Cinnamon, Mate, Gnome Fallback, and Xfce expect title bar in Xfce. If you enounter any bug within this theme then report it. Ardis icons used in following screenshots. You can use Unity Tweak ToolGnome-tweak-tool or Ubuntu-Tweak to change themes/icons.
