The Humanity-Colors icon theme is based on Ubuntu's Humanity icon set, its initial release was in 2012 and now in 2015 it offers 15 new great colors. There are two versions (dark and light) available for every color in this set, so you can choose icon as your window Theme requires like for dark panel you can choose light version and for light panel you are free to use dark version, now this icon set is independent and doesn't require any specific icon set to be installed on your system like in past it required Humanity and Ubuntu Mono icon sets. It is compatible with most of the Linux desktop environments such as Unity, Gnome, KDE, Cinnamon, Mate, Lxde, and others. There are plenty of cool icon sets available for Linux, Square icon set which was released last year is great competitor to other nice icons. It is elegant, well polished and looks great with all kind of themes but with Unity you must use dark panel theme because its status icons are kind of white/gray. XiX Player is a free easy to use multi-platform music player that currently runs in Linux, Linux ARM (Raspberry Pi), Windows & MacOS.

  • Rip CD: Artist name did not show when reading CD information. 
  • Added library support. You can have as many different libraries (Folders that you want to in/exclude) as you want, and change on the fly. You can however only use one library at once.

Qterminal is a Qt-based multitab terminal forked from QTermWidget, it is lightweight, open-source, specially designed for LXQt desktop environment. Author of QTermWidget had no time to make it more advanced, thus this fork was created. Unlike Tmux or Screen, it is much easier to deal with it.
"Initially this project was started as an attempt to create relatively light and stable terminal emulator application like Konsole or gnome-terminal but without any dependency from such monsters as KDE or Gnome. The author was looking for such kind of application for a long time but haven't found anything worth while."
It offers features like vertical and horizontal terminal split, zoom in or out, terminal tabs switcher, background color scheme adjustments (choose from predefined schemes) or change background image, font resizing, shortcut keys, hide/show scroll bars and windows borders, and many more from preferences.
Using Multiplexer features you can create as much multi-screens in one terminal window as you want, you can kill the current window, copy text between windows, scroll with in split window using mouse, easily switch between windows, etc. All windows run their programs completely independent of each other. It is easy to use multi-platform painting program. Pinta is lighter, powerful and simpler than open-source image editor GIMP. Well, it cannot compete with GIMP because it doesn't offer much features like GIMP.
Pinta is a bitmap image editor with many features typical of image editing software including drawing tools, image filters and colour adjustment tools. Over the years, the developers behind Linux have made great leaps in order to provide better services and functionality to their loyal users. Before, personal computers that have Linux operating system were deemed to be unusable. But now, a lot of people are starting to become more enthusiastic in giving it a chance because of its improved usability.

But of course, not every technophile is born the same. In addition, you cannot really expect that every Linux desktop that comes out of the box has the same features. If you are quite new to this operating system, it might take you a long time before you finally learn its ins and outs. So to help you out, here are several ways on how you can make your computer more efficient and user-friendly.

1. Familiarize yourself with the keyboard shortcuts

Similar to Windows or Mac computers, devices that run on Linux have several handy keyboard shortcuts that can definitely make your user experience better. Commonly, shortcuts are used for creating word documents, but there are some great ones that are specially designed for the system. To make it easier for you, just long press the Super key, or the Ubuntu’s equivalent of the Windows key. After a few seconds, a list of all the keyboard shortcuts will appear. This will help you become more familiarized with each shortcut.

2. Use the pager

No, this is not the kind of pager that was used by your grandparents before smartphones were invented. A Linux pager is a handy tool that provides multiple workspaces for better organization of your files. Thanks to this feature, you do not have to waste your time in searching for your different virtual working tools.

3. Use drawers

These are slide-out menus for organizing any type of icon and applet that can be found on your screen. If you like to add a lot of shortcuts on your home screen, you can use these drawers to prevent your desktop from becoming too cluttered. You can create several drawers for your social apps, games, most commonly used work tools, and a whole lot more.

4. Package manager

Linux devices usually come with a built-in package management system. The more modern versions of this system are fashioned just like an app store. The Ubuntu Software Center and Synaptic, for instance, features a variety of apps that you can download. That way, you don’t have to open your browser just to search for a program.

Azure Gtk theme is derived from Paper which is designed for modern GTK3 desktop. Its design is mostly flat with a minimal use of shadows for depth. Originally Paper has dark grey color but Azure is available in blue color for GTK 3.10/3.12 desktops, it requires 'GTK2 pixbuf engine' to get theme work properly. In the early version this theme was developed only for Gnome, later it made available for other desktops. This theme is currently in beta stage so don't expect everything to work perfect, whenever we get new update then we will push it to our PPA. Icons used in following screenshots are Victory icons. Ubuntu OS on the desktop is very famous brand and has a long heritage in the open source community, but rather than confine itself to the one platform, Canonical set out on the path to use the same core kernel and deliver the same platform across smartphones, tablets, the desktop and TVs.
Ubuntu Touch is a mobile version of the Ubuntu operating system which is being developed by Canonical Ltd and Ubuntu Community. It is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. Ubuntu Touch is designed specifically for smartphones to power everything from entry-level handhelds to "high-end super-phones" that double as PCs. The OS is fairly cool, though. You swipe on the edges of the phone to bring up the app launcher, visit your home screen, multitask, and view menus instead of hardware buttons. The home screen is a bit different than what you see on iOS and Android, showing your open apps along the top and your shortcuts on the bottom. Lock screen features include: Missed calls and messages notifications, info-graphic animations, swipe left/right to unlock, lock screen security (Pin/Password), music control, date, time and alarm information.

There are many dark and light themes available in our drawer. Lhûn-Magol is a dark GTK Theme with combination of light blue color as foreground.
