What is Ultimate Edition 2.9?  Ultimate Edition 2.9 was built off Ultimate Edition 2.8 which is built off Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat.  All updates fully updated / upgraded old kernels purged, new initrd and vmlinuz rebuilt.  Ultimate Edition 2.9 as with all odd release numbers was built with KDE users in mind. Ultimate Edition 2.9 has KDE, Gnome, Openbox and XFCE environments user selectable at login.  A crisp new theme (121 to choose from) & tons of new software.

3: Ultimate Edition Lite

What is Ultimate Edition Lite? Ultimate Edition Lite was built off Lubuntu, it is intended to be ran on low resource computers such as netbooks. Ultimate Edition Lite contains only the bare minimum, a browser, a music player and a few other tools. The desktop environment is LXDE / Openbox which has a look similar to Windows XP.

Install Atolm Theme on Ubuntu 11

Now First of all before installing the Atolm theme you need to install equinox theme. To install the equinox theme open the terminal (press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-terminal) and copy the following lines to the terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-equinox
Now install the Atolm theme copy the following line in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nikount/orta-desktop
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install atolm-theme

Atolm theme on devianART
The Atolm theme and the Awoken icon theme are good combination for ubuntu.
The Awoken icons are recommended to be used with the Atolm theme.

To install the Awoken icon theme copy the following commands in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alecive/antigone
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install awoken-icon-theme
awoken-icon-theme-customization
The last line will start the Awoken customization script, with this script you can make changes to the Awoken clear and dark, colorize the iconset and remove or select an iconset.
