Acyl stands for "Any Color You Like", Basically this icon manager allows user to choose any color and apply different themes to ACYL icon set. This is the best icon set available for Linux because you are free to customize these icons.
It has 12 filters, gradient customization to apply on icon set and three icons (folder, navigation, logo) to choose from a list.

To install Acyl-Icon-Manager in Ubuntu 15.04/14.10/14.04/12.04/Linux Mint 17.1/17/13 open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Acyl Icon are extracted from Black Opal Distribution, Which is also based on Ubuntu. These icons are very well designed and complete icons available for current distributions Except: Amazon, UbuntuOne and some other icons. These icons looks really good with light themes, You can give a try with dark theme.
You can use Unity Tweak ToolGnome-tweak-tool or Ubuntu-Tweak to change icons.
