Gnome Pie is very cool visual application inspired by World of Warcraft addon called oPie. You can use this application in Ubuntu to make your OS very cool.



Gnome Pie - Visual Application Launcher:
Gnome pie have multiple "pies", and each pie is triggered by a keyboard shortcuts you set.
Every pie has it's own role: applications category, a focused window pie (maximize, unmaximize, close, etc), a media pie (play/previous/pause/etc) and other pies.
You can modify/delete/add your pies, you have full control on your pies.

To install Gnome Pie open Terminal (Press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-terminal) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:





When installation finished, launch Gnome Pie from menu and then use Ctrl+Alt+A to launch some applications, you can find Gnome Pie shortcuts in preferences.

Gnome pie works on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal and Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and Linux Mint.
